Reading for Healthy Habits
My Favorite Book: Atomic Habits
The reason I recommend this book is how much it aligns with my Habit Coaching philosophy.
James Clear wasn’t an author or professional in habit changes when he discovered small habit changes. His story is one of perseverance through a devastating injury.
To quote James from his book (Atomic Habits) “We all face challenges in life. This injury was one of mine, and the experience taught me a critical lesson. Changes that seem small and unimportant at first, will compound into remarkable results if you’re willing to stick with them for years. We all deal with setbacks but in the long run, the quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits. With the same habits, you’ll end up with the same results. But with better habits, anything is possible”.
I couldn’t agree more with James Clear. As a Habit Coach for women, starting with small steps over time to reach an ultimate goal is how I coach. We have all heard Rome wasn’t built in a day. Our habits take time to change. This book aligns completely with my philosophy of Habit Coaching
