Intermittent Fasting for Women

I started doing intermittent fasting at the beginning of February this year. So far I have lost inches around my waist and thighs. Why is this so important to me? Feeling good in my clothes has been my goal for over a year. It has been a long journey to figure out what works for me. If you are like me, intermittent fasting is what works. The reason it works for me is during my fasting I have time to think.  Food cravings are my worst enemy. When I first started fasting, it was so hard to stop thinking about food. I was hungry because it was new for my body to adjust. This process took about 2 weeks for me to get more comfortable about fasting. What I realized was thinking about food was me avoiding something. I started asking myself questions about “why am I thinking about food?” This allowed me to see that I was using food to mask feelings and emotions I didn’t want to deal with.  Now with all these emotions, hunger, and changes happening with my body and mind I needed support. I searched for intermittent fasting Facebook Groups to join. It was sort of helpful but I didn’t find the connection I was looking for. As a Habit Coach I decided to create my own Facebook Group to help ladies with the same struggles. That is when Womens IF Connection Facebook group was born.
